Hyros alternative: five attribution tools compared
By Christian Bozic, Founder of Marketing AIgency · Updated · 9 min read
Short answer
A good Hyros alternative depends on how you sell. Shopify brands usually look at Triple Whale, larger e-commerce teams at Northbeam, subscription and CRM-heavy businesses at Wicked Reports, and B2B SaaS teams at Cometly. If you want attribution and the ad changes that follow from it in one place, with a first-party pixel, a post-purchase survey and agents that wait for your approval, Marketing AIgency (our product) is built for that. If you sell high-ticket offers over sales calls, Hyros's call tracking is still a strong reason to stay.
Key takeaways
- Hyros is ad tracking and attribution software with call tracking for booked calls and closed deals, integrations with Meta, Google, TikTok, Shopify and email, and a ROI guarantee (as of September 2026).
- Hyros uses one plan priced by tracked monthly revenue. The public page shows $69 per month for up to $5,000 tracked revenue; the main call to action is booking a setup call.
- Hyros scores 4.9 out of 5 from around 700 reviews on Trustpilot (September 2026). G2 lists only two reviews, too few to judge.
- Most alternatives price on revenue, GMV, ad spend or pageviews. Tools that bill on a fixed monthly fee get relatively cheaper as you grow.
- Attribution only pays off when someone acts on it. Check who turns the data into budget changes before you buy.
What is Hyros and what does it do well?
Hyros is ad tracking and attribution software. It captures sales that Meta and Google miss and sends real sales data back to the ad platforms so their algorithms optimize toward buyers. Hyros calls its approach "AI Swarm Tracking" and offers custom attribution models, LTV dashboards and a connection to Claude through MCP (Hyros, checked September 2026).
Its clearest strength is call tracking. Hyros follows booked calls and closed deals, which matters for coaches, course sellers, agencies and B2B offers where the sale happens on a phone call days after the click. Most e-commerce attribution tools are not built for that.
Hyros also offers a guarantee on its homepage: "Your ads grow. Or you don't pay." and on its pricing page "We guarantee better ad ROI, if you're not satisfied, you don't pay." (Hyros pricing). Read the terms before relying on it, but it shows confidence in the product.
How much does Hyros cost in September 2026?
Hyros sells "One plan to rule them all": every account gets the whole system and the price depends on tracked monthly revenue. The brackets on the pricing page run from $5k to $1m+ in tracked monthly revenue. The only price visible on the page when we checked was $69 per month for up to $5,000 tracked monthly revenue (Hyros pricing, checked September 2026).
- Pricing basis: tracked monthly revenue, so the bill grows with your sales.
- Higher brackets: prices were not shown in the version of the page we checked. The homepage directs you to "Book Setup Call".
- Setup: Hyros says setup takes about 15 minutes for most businesses, with guided setup or an implementation team.
- Billing cycle, contract length and trial were not stated on the page.
Third-party blogs publish their own Hyros price tables. They disagree with each other, so we do not quote them. Ask for a written quote for your revenue bracket, including the contract term.
Why do people look for a Hyros alternative?
The reasons we see most are the pricing model, fit and the step after the data. Revenue-based pricing rises with every good month. Businesses that sell online without calls may not need call tracking. And an attribution dashboard shows what worked, but someone still has to move the budget.
Reviews are strongly positive on Trustpilot: 4.9 out of 5 from around 700 reviews, with praise for tracking accuracy and patient onboarding specialists. The complaints there are mild, mostly a complex interface at the start and minor data discrepancies (Trustpilot, September 2026). On G2 the picture is the opposite, but with only two reviews: both describe difficulty cancelling and weak support (G2). Two reviews are not a trend, and we mention them only so you know to check cancellation terms.
From twelve years of running ad accounts, my view is that the tracking tool is rarely the bottleneck. The bottleneck is the weekly routine of turning the numbers into paused ads and shifted budgets. That is the angle of this comparison.
What should you look for in a Hyros alternative?
- How you sell: online checkout, subscription, lead form or sales call. Pick a tool built for your funnel.
- Tracking method: first-party pixel, server-side events, post-purchase survey, CRM sync. Surveys catch channels pixels miss, such as podcasts and word of mouth.
- Send-back: does it return real conversions to Meta and Google via their conversion APIs?
- Pricing basis: tracked revenue, GMV, pageviews or a fixed fee. Model your price at twice your current size.
- Action: does the tool only report, or does it propose and execute budget changes, and with what control?

The table uses what each vendor publishes, checked in September 2026. Triple Whale's own pricing page blocked our automated check, so its paid pricing comes from a dated third-party source.

Which Hyros alternative fits which business?
Triple Whale is the default look for Shopify brands. Its free plan includes a post-purchase survey (Triple Whale), and paid plans scale with GMV. We compare it in detail in our Triple Whale alternative guide.
Northbeam fits e-commerce teams with large budgets that want multi-touch attribution and hands-on strategy support. You pick the plan by annual ad spend, and the monthly price within it depends on your data volume, measured in pageviews. Starter starts at $1,500 a month on a month-to-month basis, Professional at $3,500 a month on an annual term (Northbeam).
Wicked Reports fits businesses where lifetime value decides profit, such as subscriptions, memberships and repeat buyers. Tiers follow your last 12 months of gross revenue, and Meta CAPI and its AI module are included from Maximize or cost $199 per month each below it (Wicked Reports).
Cometly fits B2B SaaS teams that need to connect ad spend to pipeline and closed-won revenue in HubSpot or Salesforce. It supports Meta, Google, LinkedIn, TikTok and Microsoft Ads (Cometly). There is no free trial because setup needs your CRM.
Marketing AIgency combines measurement and action. A first-party pixel and a post-purchase survey show where buyers really came from, conversions go back to Meta via the Conversions API, and AI agents use your company number (real revenue or real leads) to propose budget and ad changes. Each proposal lands in an approval queue with its reasoning, every change is logged, and its effect is measured after seven days. Honest limits: we do not offer call tracking, Meta is fully live while Google Ads and TikTok are being tested with the first accounts, and we have fewer integrations than the established attribution tools. If sales calls are your main channel, Hyros fits better.
When is Hyros the better choice?
- You sell high-ticket offers where the sale closes on a call, and you need call and deal tracking.
- You want an implementation team to set tracking up with you.
- Your tracked revenue is small enough that the lower brackets are affordable, or large enough that one tool for all channels is worth the revenue-based fee.
- You like having a performance guarantee in the contract.
- You want to analyze Hyros data in Claude through its MCP connection.
Whichever tool you choose, check its numbers against your bank account once a month. Our ROAS calculator gives you break-even ROAS from your margin in a minute.
How do you switch from Hyros without losing data?
- Export your historical reports and attribution data before the contract ends.
- Run the new tool's pixel in parallel for at least two weeks so you can compare both views on the same days.
- Turn off Hyros's send-back to the ad platforms only after the new tool's Conversions API events arrive, to avoid gaps or double counting.
- Check the cancellation terms and notice period in writing.
- Keep your source of truth (shop or CRM revenue) unchanged during the switch.
How did we build this comparison?
We read each vendor's pricing and product pages in September 2026 and linked every claim. Where a vendor page blocked our check (Triple Whale's pricing page), we used a dated third-party source and say so. Review data comes from Trustpilot and G2. We did not buy every tool for a test. Marketing AIgency is our product, so it is listed last and its limits are named.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best Hyros alternative?
It depends on your funnel. Triple Whale suits Shopify brands, Northbeam larger e-commerce teams, Wicked Reports subscription and LTV businesses, Cometly B2B SaaS. Marketing AIgency suits teams who want attribution and agents that act on it with an approval step.
How much does Hyros cost?
Hyros has one plan priced by tracked monthly revenue. As of September 2026 its pricing page shows $69 per month for up to $5,000 tracked monthly revenue. Higher brackets were not listed with prices when we checked, so ask for a written quote.
Is Hyros worth it for e-commerce?
It can be, but its call tracking, a main strength, matters less for pure online checkout. Shopify brands often compare it with Triple Whale or a tool that combines a first-party pixel with a post-purchase survey.
Does Hyros have a free trial?
The pricing page we checked in September 2026 did not mention a trial. It offers a guarantee instead: if you are not satisfied with ad ROI, you do not pay. Check the exact terms before signing.
Can I use a post-purchase survey instead of an attribution tool?
A survey alone misses buyers who skip it and gives no ad-level detail. Combined with a first-party pixel it is strong, because it catches channels pixels cannot see, such as podcasts or recommendations.
See your real numbers, then act on them
Connect a Meta account, add the pixel and survey, and let the agents propose changes in shadow mode. 30 days free, no card, and the clock starts with your first connected ad account. After that the agents pause until you choose a plan, nothing is charged automatically.
